Lucy Iris is a Southern American born international recording artist. Her vocal presence blends her performance experiences and appreciation of pop, country, gospel, and indie styles of music. At the age of 18 she showcased her first original work on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Her first international release was in the European dance market which prompted her move to The Netherlands. She spent a long string of years in Amsterdam working on her writing skills and released a fully original album, “Silver Lining”, which included a top 10 chart topper “Dear Diary”. She is currently working on a raw, pop, soul album with new material that she is already weaving into her live performances such as Blowin’ Smoke, Ball and Chain, and Send My Baby. Her tender, exposed style is striking and speaks the language of a well travelled heart.

"Lucy Iris is that rare type of entertainer that is able to captivate an audience and keep them along for the ride the entire show. I have not only written about her and booked her for shows, but I follow her career with an enthusiastic interest. She has never disappointed a crowd and sings with such conviction and depth that audiences can't help but fall in love with her performance."

Poolside Reflections

Hey there my summer babes and boys! I am in such a revitalized mood this evening as I sit down to write this blog to you. I have had a whirlwind spring filled with a surge of new songs, cats, guitarists, and new leases on life. I guess the nature of spring is to have the past un-serving and unnerving circumstances fall away and let the fresh breath of change blow through your hair to send you down an adventurous path that helps you find yourself stronger and brighter than ever! I wonder if anyone else feels the same way? I have had my share of ups and downs in life and one thing I have learned is that if I can’t change it I better face it! I have gone through many changes in the past few years and those who have stood by my side and knowing me even chased me down hehe have truly been my saving grace. Thanks to all of you near and dear, I will be going to Europe for a month in August to finish my album and begin the next. If anyone out there wants to share their life stories with me please email them to me and your story could be the next song I write!
With all the love in my <3 and my feet in my plastic Kiddie Pool

Love is in the air

Hello all my Lucy Lovers!
Today Wednesday February 16th I sit in a house undergoing repairs, recalling the tornado warning that woke me up at 4:30 am, doing accounting, booking through the end of the year, making buffalo sauce for buffalo bleu cheese wraps and fried green tomatoes, cleaning up cat barf, learning new songs, redesigning my in ear monitors arts and craft style, sketching out new chorus ideas, creating a show for The Make a Wish Foundation, suiting up for a run, and looking forward to singing for all of your smiling faces this weekend. Love is such a powerful thing it has the ability to balance all those things going on under one roof. Thanks to all of you who make my life possible and immeasurably worth all the circus acts and seemingly impossible projects my team and I undertake for the love of music. Be sure to check my calendar for all the new venue additions as there are many. Happy be-laded Valentines day everyone I love you all! See you soon!
Love, Lucy

Hello everyone! I am just sitting down after cooking for a solid twenty four hours! Today was a beautiful day of feeling so very blessed and loved. Everyone was kind and sent Thanksgiving day cheer my way and even my dog got a fancy plate of turkey and gravy! Tonight I will put on some cheesy holiday pajamas and watch Christmas movies. The old classic Claymation film Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer is still my favorite so I will start with that then eat some pecan pie and watch Elf or A Christmas Carol. I am going to have sweet dreams tonight for sure. Happy Holidays everyone!

Welcome to!

Hey everyone I am so excited to share my new website with you!  It is still a work in progress but feel free to take a look around. I am looking forward to a new way of staying connected to you all!  Lucy Iris
